Hi my name is John Mahony and I've been teaching automatics in and around Swansea for over 20 years. I pride myself on being patient and friendly with every pupil.

Some pupils are quick learners, however, some take a little longer. As a Grade 5 instructor, I will tailor the lessons to the individual pupils.

My experience means I can teach you in a way that you can easily understand. If you feel at ease with your instructor during your lessons, learning will be more enjoyable.

And finally, don't forget I teach in a Vauxhall Corsa, which in automatic form could half the time you learn in.

Why choose an automatic?

Automatic cars have no clutch pedal, all you have is a brake and accelerator. Once you put the car in 'D' (Drive), all your problems of choosing and selecting gears are gone. Now you can just concentrate on the road ahead and remember, automatics do not stall or roll backwards!
